A knitted jumper…by me!

I started to learn to knit about two years ago when we were living in Canberra with some friends. After making a beanie with the help of a friend, I decided to embark on making this Bendigo Woollen Mills pattern PT8472. I got about 90% finished and then life happened. We moved to Broken Hill and had a baby and I was preoccupied with other things. Plus it wasn’t a very practical jumper to breastfeed in! But I recently completed it with the help of a friend who sewed it all together for me and put some buttons on it. I used Bendigo Tweet 8 Ply wool (Imperial Emerald colour). It’s seriously the warmest jumper I have ever worn. I love the wool and colour. I actually really haven’t made any clothes for myself before that I’ve actually worn.

I am someone who likes to have lots of projects on the go. I love starting things. So I’ve already bought wool and started another project which I’ve subsequently lost steam on too! Can I say, I am just a really creative person and have lots of things on the go? It’s my achilles heal to do so much and I’m trying to be more disciplined about finishing the things I start before starting something else.
